About the exhibition
Our art space is organizing an abstract art exhibition every year in August.
The three artists we have selected this year have many similarities in their concept and ways of composition, though coming from different artistic and cultural backgrounds. They are all very enthusiastic about exhibiting together because of the unexpected similarities they found in each other’s works.
About Rudolfine Rossmann
Rudolfine Rossmann has been working for some time now with traditional Chinese ink and paper (called Xuan paper), mixing a traditional technique with a very modern gesture. She will display 15 big pieces for this show.
About He Peng and Yang Liming
He and Yang are China’s most promising young abstract painters. They both use oil on canvas.
He’s works are a hybrid between fresco and performance art. Calmness and subtlety characterize his works.
Yang listens to Western classical music while painting huge monochrome pieces, in very dark tones.
You are welcome to contact and/or visit us.
